Thank you, Steve Cannon, for presiding over our club for the 2007-2008 Rotary year. We sincerely appreciate your dedicated service and look forward to continuing to serve with you on the 2008-2009 board. A special thank you goes 10 John Howze, and Carrie Getty Scheid who are completing their term of service on the board. You gave it your all and we appreciate it. Thanks again for a job well done!

To each and every club member - this is your club. Please feel free to contact members of the 2008-2009 Board with your comments and suggestions. We certainly welcome your input and will carefully consider your suggestions.

The Rotary International theme for the 2008-2009 year is 'Make Dreams Real'. Each day, 30,000 children under the age of five die from preventable causes. Our International efforts this year will include providing safe drinking water for those who have none and the continued fight to complete the eradication of Polio. While we cannot save every child, we can and will make a difference in the lives of many children throughout the world and help make their dreams come true.

The 'Service Above Self' theme will continue to characterize the members of the Idaho Falls Rotary Club as we render service to our nation, state, and community.
