Kristin Sanger is currently the President Elect of the Idaho Falls Rotary Club. Her background is in Community Development, Grant Writing, and Nonprofit Management. She was a successful business owner for over 17 years and has brought her business acumen to Frontier Credit Union as their Treasury Management Officer, which means different things at different institutions, but at Frontier CU it means, she is the head of their Treasury Department. Most folks know her from her 5 ½ years of service as Executive Director of the Snake River Animal Shelter. Service above Self is a motto that is easy for her to follow as she appreciates and understands people at their varying walks of life. She was awarded the Mayor’s Service Award, Anchorage, AK, The Governor’s Choice “Heart of the City Award”, Anchorage, AK, and the Cottage Grove Community Service Award, Cottage Grove, OR. While she has been honored by the community recognition, her greatest value has been found in serving her family. Kristin is Mother to 6 kids and Grandmother to 5, soon to be 6 grandkids in August. She considers her husband John, to be her Best Friend, and they will celebrate 33 years of marriage in April. Those 33 years are what has really helped teach her about healthy communication, priorities, and forgiveness; three things that can get you through most everything in life!
